Further info about the formal deadlines
As part of Weather Forecasting, all teams will submit a numerical forecast in the evening of Days 2-7. This is the ‘Weather Game’ deadline on the timetable. You will only be able to make one submission per day so be very careful that you enter it correctly. Late submissions not allowed.
On the day of your Oral Forecast (marked as ‘Forecast’ in the 19:00-20:00 slot in your team’s row on the timetable), you will need to submit your slides for the Oral Forecast by the deadline by emailing the instructor leading the activity.
The Albedo and Boundary Layer activity challenges need to be completed by the stated deadline. For Boundary Layer, you should submit your answers through the form on the Boundary Layer web hub page. For Albedo, you should get your answers checked by one of the albedo team (staff/demonstrators) so that they can sign you off.
Before you begin your Capstone Project on Day 6, your team must have formally agreed your Capstone Project Plan with a member of staff. This is to ensure that your research plans are safe and appropriate, and that the required field kit is available for you to use. For SOEE3791/5096M students, your submission will include your team’s weather Text Forecast.
Your team must submit your Capstone Project presentation to the online repository before the ‘Team Capstone Project Presentation Deadline’ on Day 7.
Late submissions will not be accepted. All instructions/links for submissions are provided on the activity pages (listed under ‘Activities’ on the homepage), and you should check there for the most up to date info.
